Functional Evaluations for Litigation Support
Through comprehensive assessment, our physiotherapists deliver detailed insights into the claimant’s current level of function, clearly articulating the physical, emotional, and practical impact of their injuries. These reports explore the wider implications on daily living and consider how all aspects of the claimant’s life have been affected.
Thanks to their extensive hands-on clinical experience, our physiotherapists provide robust and realistic prognostic opinions, including how the claimant’s condition may evolve under different circumstances - such as the introduction of surgical interventions or alternative rehabilitation pathways.
Identifying Wider Clinical Input for Recovery
In addition to their core expertise in neuromusculoskeletal and respiratory health, our physiotherapists are well-placed to identify when interdisciplinary input - from professionals such as podiatrists or orthotists - may be crucial for optimal recovery, even if these specialists are not formally involved in the case.
We offer physiotherapists with the expertise to prepare:
- Quantum reports
- Liability reports
- Hybrid reports covering condition, prognosis, quantum, and causation - especially valuable in complex cases involving pre-existing health issues or vulnerabilities in addition to the primary injury.
Our team’s wide-ranging clinical knowledge spans the following areas:
- Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke
- Amputation – Limb loss
- Orthopaedic injuries
- Complex trauma (polytrauma)
- Spinal and acquired brain injuries
- Progressive neurological conditions
- Paediatric physiotherapy
- Respiratory and cardiorespiratory disorders
- Women’s health, Vestibular and balance rehabilitation
- Chronic pain management
- Musculoskeletal dysfunction
